CHLOÉ SCHMIDT
Assistant Professor, Dalhousie University
Chloé likes thinking about how population genetic processes are related to broad-scale patterns of biodiversity, and applying this knowledge to conservation practice and understanding biodiversity responses to global change. Before coming to Dal, Chloé was a senior scientist at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research, a postdoc at Yale University, and a student at the University of Manitoba (PhD), the University of Lausanne (MSc), and Rutgers University (BA). When not doing research, Chloé likes making art! See her illustrations and science communication at the link below.

ANNE-CÉLINE GRANJON
sDiv Postdoctoral Fellow, German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv)
Anne-Céline works on questions about patterns of genetic diversity within and across mammal species, with a particular focus on latitudinal gradients.
EMILY DOVYDAITIS
PhD student (co-supervised with Michael Gerth), iDiv & Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg
Emily is studying the biogeography of genetic diversity in insects and their symbionts, and how insect genetic patterns are affected by urbanization and agriculture.
